Since MissChromeNun brought up East (Japanese Band), I decided to share my fave song by my fave band. Happy End are a Japanese band heavily influenced by Buffalo Springfield, Moby Grape, The Youngbloods, etc. Whether lyrics of Japanese rock should be written in English or not caused controversy in Japanese rock music back then (,which I think is rlly bullshit).
This band chose to sing in Japanese. Though Happy End didn't become famous then, each member became successful individually, especially Haruomi Hosono, who formed YMO and Eiichi Otaki.

Wow and one of the members of Happy End formed YMO? You wouldn't know that just from listening.

I like it. Does the title translate to "High-collar Idiot"? Haikara means "fashionably Westernized." (it comes from high-collar though) So Haikara Hakuchi means "Westernized idiot" lol. What's more, it has double meaning. Haikara Hakuchi also means 「肺から吐く血」"Blood spit from lungs." It's sarcastic.
