Rockpalast, Musikladen, and Beat Club were all big German music shows. Just like how the US had Soul Train and American Bandstand, and Britain had Top of the Pops and the Old Grey Whistle Test. The Dutch had TopPop, and Australians had Countdown. Every country had their music show(s).
