A shame Warren wasn't as successful as his contemporaries. Sent from my SM-T230NU using Tapatalk

True. He is deemed as one hit wonder, but I think he is just underrated.

True. He is deemed as one hit wonder, but I think he is just underrated. Occasionally you'll hear "Play It All Night Long". Poor Poor Pitiful Me, Carmelita, Hasten Down the Wind, and Mohammed's Radio are better known as Linda Ronstadt songs.

He has many awesome songs besides that.

Big fan of Warren Zevon. I will say a lot of his work was overshadowed by the popularity of the Excitable Boy album, namely the track Werewolves of London. His debut self titled is still my favorite debut album of anyone and my favorite album of his. Poor Poor Pitiful Me, Mama Couldn't be Persuaded, and Frank and Jesse James are classics that got lost to most people.
