In honor of the month of October and Halloween, I plan on listening to thirty-one albums that show the progression of Heavy Metal from the 70's into the late 80's (one album per day). I invite anyone else who's interested to try and listen along with me each day.
The List:

Unfortunately, due to the limited number of days I had to leave out some great albums, and had to stop myself from having more than one album per artist (lest Maiden and Sabbath take up half of the albums on the list).
Tomorrow is October 1st, and the listening shall begin!
