We all know that even some of the best artists had albums that were, well, sub-par. Here we can discuss/post songs from these albums.

I actually like the album but if I had to pick the worst album by the Rolling Stones I' d go with Dirty Work. I'm not a huge fan of Their Satanic Majesties Request but there are a few songs on there I really like & those few songs are spaced out throughout the album (I don't mean "Wow...Spaced Out!")

Probably going to get set hate for this, but I actually think Bowie's last album was his worst. I know it was supposed to be his death album, like many dying artists before have done. But I just couldn't bear listening to most of it.

Easy one here: Led Zeppelin "Presence" (1976) Odd, I actually thought Presence was one of their best albums. Tea For One is an absolute genius song.

LOL Ah well, it's not that the album doesn't have a few good cuts. I own the whole Zep catalog and "Presence" I find myself listening to the least. Apparently I'm not alone in that; it's apparently the poorest seller in the Zep catalog (aside from "Coda", which hardly counts as an album anyway).

Okay, another one - Yes "Tormato" (1978). Perhaps one of their more recent albums is worse, but I haven't ever listened to them, so I have no opinion on the matter. Although the prog rock aficionado will hate me, I also struggle with "Tales from Topographic Oceans" (1973). I admit it to be technically brilliant from a musicianship standpoint, but that doesn't make it any easier to listen to.

Queen 'Hot Space' which I just couldn't get into on its release. But over the years I have mellowed on it and like most of it. Still some right clunkers on the album. They nearly called it a day after this, luckily Live Aid e hit album 'The Works' saw them get their mojo back.

David Bowie's "Never Let Me Down," Black Sabbath's "Never Say Die," AC/DC's "Blow Up Your Video," Creedence Clearwater Revival's "Mardi Gras," all the Doors albums released after Jim Morrison died, Deep Purple's "The Battle Rages On," and Bob Dylan's "Self Portrait" all come to mind.

One of my favourite bands are Toto and the one album by them I don't get after all these years is 'Hydra'. Bit too jazzy for my tastes, although some fans of the band love it!

Steppenwolf's The Second from 1968. I certainly don't hate it by any means, but it's essentially two great songs - Don't Step On The Grass Sam and Magic Carpet Ride - surrounded by comparatively "meh" filler.
I'm basing this off of the 1968 - 1972 era of Steppenwolf. Haven't really bothered listening to any of their later incarnations.
