Alex Richman is a swamp rock musician and it is said she used to be a backup singer in The Doors before she became a solo
(but her music isn't psychedelic at all so probably this info doesn't really help )

She released only one album called Salty, but this album is a materpiece You should check it out!
I couldn't get any more info about her sadly, and I couldn't even find its full album video on YouTube,
so I chose a song I liked the most (and could find on YouTube) in the album.

I was intrigued when you mentioned that she was a backup singer for the Doors, so I tried to do some more digging about her. I found her Facebook and her profile from the Visit St. Augustine website.

Alex Richman Soltow

Alexandra Richman Soltow is a keyboardist and vocalist from New York, and her first band was named St. John. St. John opened for artists such as The Allman Brothers and Rufus in Chicago, and Zephyr and Flash Cadillac in Boulder, Colorado. She recorded an album with Capitol Records featuring Ry Cooder on guitar, toured with Danny O’Keefe, performed and recorded with The Brothers Johnson, Ray Parker Jr., The Butts Band featuring Robbie Krieger, John Densmore of The Doors, and toured Europe with Curved Air.

Richman’s style is mostly centered in blues with influences from classical music to soul, jazz, and classic rock. She has lived in several cities all over the United States and has most recently been living in St. Augustine, Florida. Nowadays, she performs with several local bands and performs as a trio with bass and drums, as a duo, or as a solo artist.

But I'm so glad she still performs! And god her performance is still so great!

Alex Richman was kinda obscure, and unknown artist for sure, so I really hope more people will listen to her music!
