Johnny Clegg & Savuka was a South African group, remarkable in that it was a bi-racial band, formed in 1986, during the apartheid era.  Their sound was an unusual blend of both African music with Western influences.

Sadly, Johnny Clegg passed away in July of 2019 from pancreatic cancer.
